During COVID-19, Youth4Youth continues to bring STEM sessions to schools to inspire children and develop their interest in STEM. Recently, we held a STEM session for Y4 to Y6 students at ESF Quarry Bay School. The focus of our session was to teach the students about the relationship between music and technology.
The students explored Super-Looper, a music making app, to create compositions with disco drums and ultracool synths. We also showed the students Chrome Music Lab Song Maker and Sampulator, two other softwares that allow you to compose songs by making your own unique melodies and beats.
It was great to provide hands-on exploration activities for these Y4 to Y6 students to inspire and empower them to develop a love for STEM from a young age. We were very impressed with the students' musical creations at the end of this session!
